Epic Raid, AKA Grand Bosses, is a feature/event when a great number of players(whole Alliance’s included) face a powerful monster (usually gargantuan in size).
Those battles are quite epic due the nature of the skills that the bosses uses (like Valakas Meteor Shower), giving a quite eye candy to the player fighting then.
Those bosses are regarded having their own set of jewels(Ant Queen Ring, for example) and other rare drops.
